The Elderly Citizen is the most discriminated individual in this earthly society.

It’s unbelievable how quickly one of the most intelligent human being becomes the dumbest little child in our earthly society by those who have known you  all of their life.

The world respected you for all of your constructive contributions to humanity until you pass the age of 60 years old.

The children you took care of look for places you belong other than with them.

Your family members fear to have you visit with them and their children longer than a weekend. They actually fear that you may choose to live with you.

All of a sudden, every question you ask about life means you are planning to stay with them.

So they fixed ways to control everything you do and think about doing when you visit.

Don’t you dare go in the hospital for a minor health issue. You end up in rehabilitation. Your family members stop trusting your genius and start believing everything the unknown medical personnel in the rehabilitation center tells them about you to keep you in one of their nursing facilities.

Going back to your own home alone would mean you will eventually wind up living with them. Oh no! You can’t interrupt their life style.

So they allow the unknown to you, medics to make the decision about the rest of your life. As long as it’s not with you.

But you gave them the time and energy to build what they now have…

It makes you wonder, should I go to visit with them?

Or should I stay in my own territory and have the one day weekend visits. Let them choose to come visit you. Remain the intelligent human being you have always been.
